You can create and maintain rights for the people at HR ➔ People ➔ Maintain, select a person, and then click Open under the Rights tab. Before you can link any document to a person card, you need to select a person first. Without the relevant person information filled in under the General tab, all fields under the Rights tab cannot be modified. For more information on creating and maintaining entries for people, see Creating and maintaining entries for people.
Select any of the following check box(es) to allow the person the rights to authorize the selected function.
The amount that the person can authorize is defined under the Limit section. Once saved, the system will assign a role which gives the person the authorization rights to the selected functionality.
Note: The Cash instrument and Warehouse check boxes are not about rights to authorize but for access rights to the cash instruments and warehouses respectively. These check boxes will be selected if the rights to access the cash instrument and warehouse is granted. You can grant the access rights by clicking . Alternatively, you may assign the cash instrument access rights through the cash instrument created (for more information, see Creating and maintaining cash instruments) or warehouse access rights through the warehouse created (for more information, see Creating and maintaining warehouses).
Type a value to specify the purchase limit of the person.
Type a value to specify the sales or service order limit of the person.
Type a value to specify the sales invoice limit of the person.
Type a value to specify the RMA order limit of the person.
This section displays all roles linked to a person.
Click this to add a new role to a person.
Click this to modify the role. For more details, see Creating and maintaining roles.
Click this to delete the role linked to a person.
Click this to copy the rights from another user. A message will prompt you to specify whether to copy the rights from an existing person to another person or vice versa.
