You can maintain and view the payroll information such as the payroll data and payroll components at HR/People/Maintain under the Payroll tab. Before you can create any payroll information, you need to select a personnel first. Without the relevant personnel information filled in under the General tab, all the fields under the Payroll tab cannot be modified. For more information, see Creating and maintaining entries for people.
Note: You must type the date of birth at Place of birth/Date under the General tab in order to create the payroll information for the selected personnel.
Note: The results will show the calculated amount for the periods where payroll has been generated. To indicate the different statuses of the payroll entries, refer to the legend at the bottom of the screen.
Select the payroll year you want. By default, the current payroll year is displayed.
Select this to view the periodic payroll data. This will also allow you to create or edit the payroll data for different periods. This is country-specific.
Select the required option to display the payroll data according to the selected option:
Select this to add a component to the personnel.
Select this to modify the selected component.
Select this to delete the selected component. It is enabled only if the component has not been calculated yet.
Note: If you select Cost allocation, Hour matrix, or Prepayment, you will see a different screen respectively when you click Add icon, Edit icon or Delete icon.
Click this to display the component and modify the component properties. You have to define the payroll component in the E-Payroll to be able to make changes to it.
Note: This is only applicable if you have an E-Payroll license in your system.
Click this to link a group of components to the personnel by selecting a component group.
Click this to link the components to a personnel or to maintain a component amount based on the selected scale. The scale is dependent on the variables such as the age, job group, and a combination of age and job group according to the scale setup in Payroll/Components/Maintain.
Note: This is country-specific and only applicable to Netherlands and Middle-east legislation. You must have an e-Payroll module license in your system to use this function.
Click this to copy the selected payroll component from another personnel to the selected personnel.
Click this to view all the related Our ref. information for the selected transaction. It is enabled only if a processed transaction is selected.
Click this to view all the related Your ref. information for the selected transaction. It is enabled only if a processed transaction is selected.
Click this to view all the entries of the selected transaction.
This indicates the component which has been linked to the personnel but not calculated yet. The component can be deleted.
This indicates the component which has been calculated. It cannot be deleted.
This indicates the component which has been authorized. It cannot be deleted.
This indicates the component which has been processed. It cannot be deleted.
