At the end of a financial year, a financial statement of accounts has to be drawn up for your accountant. All financial data will be exported to a file. This file contains the general ledger accounts and the balances (debit and credit) of the financial year.
Accountancy ➔ Reports ➔ Export financial statement
You can filter the financial statement that you want to export. To search for the financial statement, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Export to start the export process. The financial statement that matches the search criteria you have entered is then exported.
Select the relevant financial year of the financial statement that you want to export.
Type or select the date range of the financial statement you want to export or select the All check box for all dates.
Select the Applicable for historical years check box if you want the selected date range to be applicable for both current and historical years that exist in the system. The check box is only enabled if a date range is provided and the All check box is not selected in Date.
If a date range is entered and the Applicable for historical years check box is checked, the date range will be applicable to both the current financial year and historical years. If a date range is entered and this check box is not checked, the date range will be applicable to the current financial year only.
Type the export file name that you want to use for the financial statement generated.
Type or select the file path in which you want to save the file.
