Introduction
This page allows you to change the password
for the SQL Login user that accesses the Exact Synergy Enterprise database.
Note: This
menu path is displayed only if the SQL Login option at Connection
Mode under the Role section on the Connection Setting page is
selected. For more information, see Changing database connection settings.
Roles and rights
To change the database password, the Administrator
role and Administrator rights for Exact Synergy Enterprise and the
relevant databases are required.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is
applicable to product update 257 and higher. If you have versions lower than
this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I change the database password?
- On the Update Database Password page, make the
necessary changes.
- Click Save.

Close
Click this to exit.
Save
Click this to save the changes.
Fields
Username
The
username of the SQL Login user that Exact Synergy Enterprise uses to access the
database is displayed.
New password
Type the new password for the SQL Login
user. If your company has a password policy for the SQL accounts, the new
password must adhere to it.
Confirm password
Type the password that you have defined at New
password.
