Cost centers can be selected when is clicked at Cost centre.
This document provides you the steps to selecting cost centers.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to search for cost centers based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to display the previous list of cost centers.
Click this to display the next list of cost centers.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to “10”, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, you will see the Previous and Next buttons.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial cost center code to search for a cost center. The cost center code is based on the Code defined at the cost center maintenance (go to System ? Finance ? Cost centers/units ? Cost centres, select the relevant cost center and click Open).
Type a full or partial description to search for a cost center that matches the description. The description is based on the Description defined at the cost center maintenance (go to System ? Finance ? Cost centers/units ? Cost centres, select the relevant cost center and click Open).
Click this to select the cost center that you want to use.
Note: This button is enabled only if a cost center is selected.
Click this to view or modify the selected cost center entry.
Click this to create a cost center entry. For more information on creating and maintaining cost centers, see Creating and maintaining cost centers.
Click this to view the search results in the format of a report. You can print the report by clicking Print in the Report screen.
Click this to exit.
