On this page, you can create, modify, or delete subsectors. Subsectors are used to further group sectors of external parties (for example customers and suppliers) into the specific business segments.
To create, modify, or delete subsectors, function right 305 – Maintain sectors and subsectors is required. By default, users with the Customer manager role have this function right.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 240 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon is mandatory.
Click this to save the entry.
Click this to save the entry and create another entry.
Note: This available only when you are creating an entry for a subsector.
Click this to delete the entry of the subsector from the system.
Note: This available only when you are modifying an existing entry.
Click this to exit.
Type or select a sector code to define the sector to which this subsector belongs. This is mandatory.
Note: If you are modifying an existing entry, this information cannot be edited.
Type a unique alphanumeric code for the subsector. You can type up to 10 characters. This is mandatory.
Type a description for the subsector. This is mandatory.
Type or select a policy document number for the subsector, if necessary.
