Introduction
You can view the merged documents after creating letters and sending e-mails with Word Merge on both single and bulk processes.
Roles and rights
All users are able to view the Word Merge merging log report.

The information in this document is based on product update 250.
How do I view merged documents on the Word Merge log report?

On the Word Merge: Log page, define the search criteria, and then click Refresh.

The list of merging process results will be displayed.
-
Click the required Word Merge merging process hyperlink in the ID column with the status Completed to view the merged documents.
Note: You can print bulk merged letter documents at one go. For more information, see Installing and using Exact Synergy Enterprise Document Downloader for printing bulk merged documents.
Buttons
Refresh
Click this to refresh the results based on the defined criteria.
Reset
Click this to clear the defined criteria and reset the search conditions.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
Criteria section
Creator
Type or select a creator to display the merging processes performed by this creator.
ID
Type or select a Word Merge merging process ID to display the merging process results with the ID.
Note: The ID is generated and displayed on the confirmation message page when single or bulk merging processes of creating letters and sending e-mails are completed. For more information, see Viewing Word Merge merging results.
Date created
Select an option to display the merging processes performed within the stipulated period.
Status
Select the relevant check box(es) to display the merging processes with the following status(es):

Completed – This means the merging process has completed.
-
Error – This means the merging process contains error.
-
Open – This means the merging process is pending for approval.
-
Running – This means the merging process is in progress.
Merge type
Select one of the options to display the merging processes with the following merge type:
-
Search – Select this option to display bulk merging processes based on account, contact, request, or people search pages.

Card – Select this option to display single merging processes based on account, contact, personal, project, or quotation cards, or request pages.

Both – Select this option to display both single and bulk merging processes.
Merge method
Select one of the options to display the merging processes with the following method:

Letter – Select this option to display merging processes on creating letters.

Email – Select this option to display merging processes on sending e-mails.
-
Both – Select this option to display merging processes on creating letters and sending e-mails.
Subject
Type the subject to display the merging processes based on the following search condition:
-
Starts with – This displays merging processes with the subject that starts with this text.
-
Contains – This displays merging processes with the subject that contains this text.
-
Equal to – This displays merging processes with the subject that is the exact match to this text.
-
Empty – This displays merging processes with a blank subject.
-
Not – Empty – This displays merging processes with the Subject field filled.
