User preferences can be configured by the individual user (unless he or she has the rights for this menu path). The user preferences can also be configured by your application administrator in [System: Security, Authorization, Users, Maintenance].
Enter the printer you want to use for printing of overviews and reports in portrait format. User printers can be defined in [System: Application, Printers, User printers, Maintenance].
Enter the printer you want to use for printing of overviews and reports in landscape format. User printers can be defined in [System: Application, Printers, User printers, Maintenance].
Select the multi language you want to use. This multi language is used when showing the description of entities on reports and search screens. When you want to use the regular descriptions, select 'Standard language'. See: [Multi language].
Select the application language. The application language determines the language of the labels and descriptions in the screens and menus displayed.
Enter how dates should be shown throughout the application. You can select American date notation (month / day / year) or European date notation (day / month / year).
Enter how numbers should be shown. When you select the American representation, a comma will be used as thousands separator and a decimal point to indicate decimals. For the European representation however, a full stop will be used as thousands separator and a comma indicates decimals.
Select the style sheet for your AJAX user interface.
When you activate this option, all menu paths will be displayed. The rights for accessing these menu paths will be checked the moment the user attempts to start a menu path. See: [Authorization].
Activate this setting when all menu paths should always be shown regardless of user rights. When this setting is switched off only the menu paths for which the user has rights will be shown. If you have enabled 'Check authority afterwards' then this setting is always enabled and cannot be modified. See: [Authorization].
Activate this setting in case you want the menu path to be displayed in the window title bar.
When you activate this setting you will automatically use the last company used when logging in. If you do not activate this option you will always be asked to select your company when logging in. See: [Authorization].
Enter the menu you want to start with after logging in.

Mark this option if you want to change your password. The following three fields are then enabled. See [Wachtwoordbeheer].
Enter your current password. See [Wachtwoordbeheer].
Enter your new password. Password restrictions such as minimum length and password history may apply if password management is enabled. See [Wachtwoordbeheer].
Confirm your new password. See [Wachtwoordbeheer].
Mark this option when you want to export overviews to Microsoft Excel. As soon as you start an export the report will be opened in Microsoft Excel. Note that the export to Microsoft Excel creates a Microsoft Excel XML file.
Mark this option when you want to export overviews directly to a comma separated file. Enter into the corresponding field the default export path of the generated results. Example: 'C:\temp\'.
Mark this option when you want to export overviews directly to a fixed width ASCII file. Enter into the corresponding field the default export path of the generated results. Example: 'C:\temp\'.
