You can see this screen by clicking Transfer at the sales order conditions, or service order conditions screen (go to Order/Entries/Sales orders, or Service/Entries/Service orders, click Open or New, and then click Conditions). This screen allows you to transfer the item(s) that are in the sales order or service order from another warehouse to the selected warehouse (the warehouse of the items in the sales order or service order). However, the sales order or service order has to be authorized before you can transfer the items.
Note: It is possible that not all columns in this example are displayed. You can add or remove columns as required by clicking the Columns icon.
Note: The items in the sales order are displayed only if there is not enough stock in the selected warehouse (the Warehouse defined in the sales order lines) for the items.
Select how you want the items in the sales order or service order that are out of stock to be sorted. Select Item to sort by items (the same items will be grouped together), or select Warehouse to sort by warehouse (items that are stored in the same warehouse will be grouped together). By default, Item is selected.
Select the warehouse to display the items in the sales order or service order that is out of stock. Select one of the following options:
You can choose to display the items ordered that are out of stock based on any of the following:
Select this check box to display stock controlled items (whereby the Stock controlled check box at Order/Items/Maintain or Service/Items/Maintain, under the Inventory tab is selected) in the sales order or service order which are out of stock.
This column displays the items in the sales order or service order which is out of stock. This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the description of the item. The description displayed is based on the Description defined for the item at the item maintenance (at Order/Items/Maintain or Service/Items/Maintain, and then click Open or New). This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the warehouse where the item will be issued. The warehouse displayed is based on the Warehouse code defined for the warehouse at Inventory/Warehouse management/Warehouses. This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the location of the warehouse where the item will be issued. The warehouse location displayed is based on the Warehouse locations defined for the warehouse at Inventory/Warehouse management/Warehouses. This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the warehouse where the item will be received. The warehouse displayed is based on the Warehouse code defined for the warehouse at Inventory/Warehouse management/Warehouses. This column cannot be edited.
Double-click the Selected column if you want to transfer the item. A green check mark is displayed if the item is selected. To remove the selection, double-click the Selected column again.
This column displays the number of the items ordered. The required quantity displayed is based on the Ordered quantity of the items defined in the sales order lines at the Sales orders screen (at Order/Entries/Sales orders, and then click Open or New) or service order lines at the Service orders screen (at Service/Entries/Service orders, and then click Open or New). This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the quantity allocated for the item. This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the number of free stock available for the item in the issuing warehouse. This column cannot be edited.
This column displays the number of items that is short of stock in the receiving warehouse. This column cannot be edited.
Type the number of items to be transferred to the receiving warehouse. By default, the quantity displayed depends on the number of items required and the number of free stock available for the item. For example, if Requirements is “5” and Free stock is “4”, the Advice column for the item will display “4”.
This column displays the unit of the item. The unit displayed is based on the Sls. unit defined for the item at the item maintenance (at Order/Items/Maintain or Service/Items/Maintain, and then click Open or New), under the Basics tab. This column cannot be edited.
Click this to export the overview to MS Excel.
Click this to transfer the selected items from the issuing warehouse to the receiving warehouse.
Note: The items will be transferred only if the Selected column contains a green check mark and the Advice column is not “0”.
Click this to exit.
