Introduction

At this page you can configure the time fields of a request type specifically End time, End Time (Realized), Start time, and Start time (Realized). Apart from recording time, the time fields can be used together with the date fields and duration fields. Description

The following describes only the settings specific for the End time, End time (Realized), Start time, and Start time (Realized) fields. For more information on the menu path, roles and rights, buttons, and other settings available in most request fields, see Customizing Request Type Fields (Main Document).

• Search keyword: Type "time" in the Name box and click Refresh. Click the End time, End time (Realized), Start time, or Start time (Realized) field to add and configure the field in the request type.
• Automatic label: In a generated request form, the automatic label is "End time (Planned)" for End time, "End time (Realized)" for End time (Realized), "Start time (Planned)" for Start time, and "Start time (Realized)" for Start time (Realized).

Default section

Default

Select the default time to be entered in the time field of a newly-created request:

• None - Select this to leave the time field blank.
• Current - Select this to automatically enter the current time in the field.
• Other - Select this and type a time to set this as the default time.

A user can change the default time unless you have disabled the editing of this field for a relevant status of the request in the Edit section.
