The dispatch board schedule view offers an insight to the service activities to be planned, such as activities that have a date defined, but without people assigned, and services that have been assigned to the people. Using the dispatch board schedule view, you can easily manage the service activities, schedule service appointments, plan activities, and view the workload of the people.
The dispatch board schedule view can be customized based on how you want the dispatch board schedule view to be displayed.
To customize the dispatch board schedule view, function right 872 – Maintain service planboard is required. Users with the Service planner or Service manager role have this function right.

The information in this document is applicable to product update 258 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
You can customize the information that you want to be displayed on the page by clicking Customize.
Click this to save the changes.
Click this to change the fields based on the default settings.
Click this to exit.
Select this check box to automatically refresh the dispatch board schedule view based on the defined number of minutes. By default, the check box is not selected, and the value at minutes of inactivity is set to “5”. If the check box is selected, the minimum number of minutes of inactivity should be “1” and the maximum duration in minutes is “99”. When the value is “0”, the warning message “Minimum auto refresh duration = 1” will be displayed.
Type the width of the cell for the dispatch board schedule view if 10 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes is selected at Scale on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, 30 is displayed. The minimum cell width is 5 pixels and the maximum cell width is 999 pixels. For more information, see Viewing dispatch board schedule view for Service management.
Type the width of the cell for the dispatch board schedule view if 1 hour is selected at Scale on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, 60 is displayed. The minimum cell width is 30 pixels and maximum cell width is 999 pixels. For more information, see Viewing dispatch board schedule view for Service management.
Type the width of the cell for the dispatch board schedule view if 1 day is selected at Scale on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, 120 is displayed. The minimum cell width is 60 pixels and maximum cell width is 999 pixels. For more information, see Viewing dispatch board schedule view for Service management.
Select the time range that you want to be displayed on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, 00:00 to 24:00 is displayed.
Select this check box if you do not want weekends to be displayed on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, this check box is selected.
Select the period that you want to plan for the items. You can select Last 3 months, Last 6 months, Last year, or All. By default, Last 6 months is displayed.
Select the type of plan to be displayed on the dispatch board schedule view. You can select Activities planned by me or All activities. By default, Activities planned by me is displayed.
Type the height for the dispatch board schedule view. By default, 550 is displayed. The minimum height and maximum height for the scheduler is 250 and 9999.
When changing this value, the height of the schedule will be adjusted according to the service engineers in the list. If the list of engineers is longer than the defined height, a scrollbar will be displayed on the left of the dispatch board schedule view. Type the height for the to be planned service activities. By default, 180 is displayed. The minimum height and maximum height is 30 and 999.
When changing this value, the height of the To be planned section will be adjusted accordingly. For more information, see Viewing dispatch board schedule view for Service management.
This section allows you to define the type of information to be displayed for the tasks on the dispatch board schedule view.
Select how the details of the service appointment should be displayed. When selecting Horizontal, all information is displayed in one line. How much information can be displayed, depends on the layout and available space. When selecting Vertical, the information is shown in separate lines.
Select any of the following status to display the selected status with colors:
By default, Activity: Status is displayed.
Select the type of information to be displayed for the tasks on the dispatch board schedule view. By default, Activity: Description, Customer: Name, and Address: City are displayed.
This section allows you to define the information to be displayed under the To be planned section on the Dispatch board schedule view page when you perform a search.
By default, the columns Request create date, Activity: Description, Customer: Name, and Address: City are selected. Using the > and < icons, you are able to add additional columns or remove columns. The Up and Down buttons enable you to change the order of the columns.
This section allows you to select the tooltips for the appointments or service activities, whereby when the mouse cursor is pointing to the appointment or service activity in the dispatch board schedule view, the information of the appointment or service activity will be displayed as a tooltip. However, only texts will be displayed in the tooltip. If free fields have been selected as a tooltip, the free fields will be displayed based on the settings defined on the Workflow: Request type – Service request page. For more information, see Creating and modifying request types – Fields tab. Thus, if a tooltip without any value is selected, N/A will be displayed. For example, “Remark N/A”. The tooltips will not display the status color, hours due, and material in stock. For HR requests, the start and end dates, and start and end times will be displayed when the mouse cursor is pointing at the top of the service request.
