Introduction
On this page, you can view a list of project rates, as well as create and delete project and customer rates.
Roles & rights
- You can view project rates if you have the Project controller role, or if you are the manager of the project and have the Project manager role.
- You can view and maintain project rates if you have the Project controller role with function right 1015 - Maintain rates assigned, or if you are the manager of the project and have the Project manager role with function right 1015 - Maintain rates assigned.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable
to product update 263 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain
features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the overview of project rates for all projects?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
How do I view the overview of project rates for projects in which I am a member?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Refresh.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
How do I create project members?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
- On the Project rates page, in the Members section, click New. For more information, see Adding and maintaining project members.
How do I create project rates?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.

How do I create customer rates?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.

How do I edit the start and end dates of a project?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
- On the Project rates page, in the Members section, click the Edit link under the Action column of the required project member. For more information, see Adding and maintaining project members.
How do I edit project rates?

- On the Project rates page, in the Project rates section, click the Edit link under the Action column of the required project rate. For more information, see Creating and modifying project rates.
How do I edit customer rates?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.

Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
- On the Project rates page, in the Customer rates section, click the Edit link under the Action column of the required customer rate. For more information, see Creating and modifying customer rates.
How do I adjust the end date of a project?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
- On the Project rates page, click End date.
- Define a new date at New end date.
- Select the check box(es) corresponding to the areas to apply the new end date.
- Click Save.
How do I apply rates?
- On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink under the Project column.
- Click Rates.
- On the Project rates page, click Apply Rates. The message “Apply latest rates to all unapproved hour planning & realization request of this project?” will be displayed.
- Click Yes.
Buttons
Apply rates
Click this to apply the adjusted rates. The message “Apply latest rates to all unapproved hour planning & realization request of this project” will be displayed.
You will be asked to confirm your action. If the invoice has already been processed, you will need to generate a credit note. Click Yes to proceed or No to cancel the process.
Note: When a rate is adjusted after it has been used in hour planning, the hours will be saved in the request with the wrong rate.
End date
Click this to adjust the existing date when price agreements are prolonged.
Note: This is applicable only for customer rates that comply with the current end date. This button will be displayed based on the following scenarios whereby
the button will check on the available options when it is clicked.

Click this to exit.
Fields
General section
Project
This displays the code and description of the project that are linked to the project rate.
Customer
This displays the customer who is linked to the project rate.
Plan period
This displays the planned period of the project. The planned period is either user-defined or system-defined.
Currency
This displays the currency entered in the relevant account card that is linked to the project rate.
End date section
Current end date
Type or select the current planned period of the project. By default the current date display the end date of the planned period. This field is mandatory.
New end date
Type or select the new end date of the project. This field is mandatory.
Apply to
Select the Project, Members, Project rates and/or Customer rates check box(es) to apply the new planned end period of the project.
Note: This section is available when you click the End date button.
Members section
This section displays all members who are linked to the project rate. You can view the member details by selecting a name under the Name column. You can also view the details of the division of the person by selecting the division under the Division column.
You can click New to link new project members or Edit to modify project members. For more information see Adding and maintaining project members.
Project rates section
This section displays all the new project rates created. You can click New to create new project rates. For more information, see Creating and modifying project rates.
Customer rates section
This section displays all the new customer rates created. You can click New to create new customer rates. For more information see Creating and modifying customer rates.
