PU 507 | 506 (Globe+): Ability to add fields to the XML template and layout for KSeF invoices (Polish legislation)

This release introduces enhanced flexibility in managing KSeF invoice templates. Organisations can now add new fields to the XML template and layout, ensuring improved VAT reporting accuracy and compliance with the Polish legislation. The update supports both standard invoices and correction notes, while maintaining consistency with KSeF standards.

Tax rate handling

The P_12 tag now supports both numeric values such as 23, 22, 8, and 7, and descriptive codes such as 0 EX. The values are derived from the VAT percentage description rather than the Numeric percentage field in the VAT codes maintenance screen. This ensures the proper handling of non-numeric options. Additionally, the VAT transaction code description database field has been added for both item and text line blocks.

Tag repetition

Certain tags can now be repeated according to the max attribute defined in template comments such as //Podmiot3: max = 100. Each repetition must include the entire Podmiot3 structure with tis inner tags such as IDNabywcy and NrEORI, even if some inner tags are not required. You can use the “visible=”false” attribute to hide the tags that are not required.

The FaWiersz tag variations (group_id=”2” for item block and group_id=”3” for text line block) are managed directly by the layout engine and do not require manual mapping.

Special tags for correction notes

The KSeF system supports standard invoices and correction notes for invoice documents. Correction notes now include special tags marked with comments such as <!-- #start of [Correction]#-->.

Tags like DaneFajorygowane should be set to visible=”true” without mapping if you get the instruction “do not map the tag DaneFakorygowane”. Proper maintenance and mapping of the tags will ensure valid KSeF invoice generation.
