In this screen, you can move the operation that a production operation is scheduled to run through, to another timeframe.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: If the schedule of the operation is finite, you will see a Next button instead. To find out if the schedule of an operation if finite or not, go to Manufacturing ? Setup ? Operations, select the operation, and then click Open. The schedule of the operation is finite if the Finite schedule check box under the Capacity/Scheduling tab is selected. If the schedule of the operation is finite, proceed to step 10.
Type or select the ID of the operation to specify the new operation that the production operation will run through.
The Move start from field displays the current date and time that the production operation is scheduled to start. To change the start date or time, select the Move to check box, and then type or select the new start date or time.
The Move end from field displays the current date and time that the production operation is scheduled to end. To change the end date or time, select the Move to check box, and then type or select the new end date or time.
Select this check box if you want the production operation to move to a new timeframe. The other production operations scheduled to run through the operation during that timeframe are not rescheduled, even if it results in the load on the capacity of the operation to go over 100%. This check box is displayed only if the source operation is finite.
Select this check box if you want to view the production operation in the Operation zoom in form after it has been moved.
This displays the original operation the production operation was scheduled to run through.
This displays the new operation the production operation will be moved to.
This displays the quantity of the make items being made on the production.
This displays the quantity of make items that have been completed on the production operation.
This displays the promised date of the first open delivery line on the production operation.
This displays the remaining setup hours of the production operation.
This displays the remaining run hours of the production operation.
This displays the estimated amount of time needed to set up the operation and run the production operation through it.
Type the number of machines in the operation that the production operation will run through or the number of employees who will work on the production operation during its scheduled timeframe.
Click this to move the production operation to the defined start or end date and time.
Click this to cancel the move and return to the Visual scheduler screen.
