A currency is generally an accepted form of money which is widely used in a country as a medium for exchanging goods or services. Each country has its own currency and these currencies are commonly used as the representation of payments in trading or banking transactions around the world.
In this screen, you can view a list of currencies that have been created in the system. These currencies need to be activated first before they can be used for making and receiving payments through the system.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.
Click this to search for the currencies based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to “2”, then two rows will displayed. Therefore, if you have more than two rows listed, you will see the Previous and Next buttons.
Click this to return to the previous list of currency codes and descriptions.
Click this to go to the next list of currency codes and descriptions.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial currency code to search for the currency that matches the code.
Type a full or partial description to search for the currency that matches this description.
Select Yesto display only the active currencies, No to display only the inactive currencies, or All to display all the currencies.
This displays the code of the currency.
This displays the description of the currency code.
This display the status of the currency code.
Click this to delete the selected currency. You can only delete the currency that is not in use in other transactions.
Note: This is enabled only when a currency is selected.
Click this to view and/or editthe selected currency. For more information, see Creating and maintaining currencies.
Click this to create a currency. For more information, see Creating and maintaining currencies.
Click this to exit.
