Modules ? System ? Setup ? Personal data ? Selections / Actions
The setup and maintenance of personal data classifications have been made available to support the proper management of personal data and be in compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This feature enables the setting of expiry dates for personal data so that those data are anonymized when they are no longer applicable. This is useful in cases where an employee has resigned from the company, a lead account is not promoted to the customer account, or an applicant is not hired.
This page is an action center that displays a summary of existing personal data classifications. From this overview, you can easily view the events linked to the personal data classifications, whether the events have taken place, and the number of people or accounts linked to the events. An event indicates the circumstances when the personal data of your employees, contact people, and accounts are no longer needed, and can be anonymized.
To access the action center for personal data classifications, function right 1029 — Personal data management is required. By default, users with the Personal data controller role have this function right.
