Activity types are various types of business activities between your accounts and your business. These activity types can range from providing external services to customers, handling product enquiry by customers, filing of complaints by customers, signing or terminating of contract agreements, and so forth.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

Type the number of rows to be displayed for each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to 50, then 50 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 50 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.

Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial identification code of an activity type to search for the activity type.
Type a full or partial description to search for an activity type that matches the description.
After defining the search criteria, click Search to display the search results. By default, there are three main columns displayed in the search results. The ID column displays the identification codes of the activity types, the Description column displays the descriptions of the activity types, and the Active column indicates if an activity type is active. A green check mark in the Active column indicates an active activity type. You can only use active activity types in your administration.
Click this to delete the selected field(s).
Click this to open and edit the selected field.
Click this to create a new activity type.
