Introduction
From these various screens, you can retrieve a log of changes done to the data in sales, service, purchase, blanket, RMA, and RTV orders. In addition, you can determine who made the changes and the dates the changes were made.
Note: This feature is available only if the Logbook check box at System ? General ? Settings, under Order settings, is selected.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the logbook?
- In the respective screen, define the criteria, and then click Search.
- Select a line.
- Click Logbook.
How do I define the columns to be displayed in the screen?
- In the respective screen, define the criteria, and then click Search.
- Select a line.
- Click Logbook.
- In the pop-up screen, right-click on one of the columns, and then click Define columns.
- In the Define columns screen under the Available section, select a column that you want to display.
- Click to move the selected column to the Visible section.
- Click OK.
How do I remove the columns from being displayed in the screen?
- In the respective screen, define the criteria, and then click Search.
- Select a line.
- Click Logbook.
- In the pop-up screen, right-click on one of the columns, and then click Define columns.
- In the Define columns screen under the Visible section, select a column that you want to remove.
- Click to move the selected column to the Available section.
- Click OK.
Fields
Modified
Select this option to view the details of orders that have been changed. By default, this option is selected.
Deleted lines
Select this option to view the details of orders that have been deleted.
Columns
These columns will be available when Modified is selected.
Line
This column displays the line numbers in the orders in which the details have been changed. For an example, if an order has three order lines and the data in the second line has been changed, "2" will be displayed. "0" is displayed if details in the order header have been changed.
Note: If this column is set to be displayed in the screen, this column will be the first column displayed by default. The order of display for this column cannot be changed.
Date
This column displays the dates that the changes were done.
Note: The order of display for this column cannot be changed.
Full name
This column displays the full names of the people who made the changes.
Field
This column displays the fields where the details have been changed.
Reason for changing
This column displays the reasons filled when the changes were made.
Old value
This column displays the details before they were modified.
New value
This column displays the new details filled.
Order number
This column displays the order numbers of the orders.
Modified date
This column displays the dates and the time the orders were modified.
These columns will be available when Deleted lines is selected.
Order number

This column displays the dates and time the lines in the orders were deleted.

Order lines
This column displays the line numbers in the orders that have been deleted. For an example, if an order has three order lines and the second line has been deleted, "2" will be displayed.
Note: The order of display for this column cannot be changed.
Full name
This column displays the full names of the people who deleted the order lines.
Item
This column displays the items that were associated to the order lines deleted.
Description
This column displays the descriptions of the items.
Quantity
This column displays the quantities of the items associated to the order lines deleted.
Net price
This column displays the net prices of the order lines.
Date
This column displays the dates that the order lines were deleted.

Click this to exit.
