Copying existing entries of people to new entries

Introduction

On this page, you can create a a new entry for a person by copying the details of an existing entry.

Roles and rights

To copy details of a person to a new entry, function right 147 — Maintain resource card is required. By default, users with the HR or HR assistant role have this function right.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I copy entries for people?

  1. On the HRM: People page, define the required criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Click the name of the person under the Name column. The personal card of the person is displayed.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click Copy. The HRM: Person - Copy page will be displayed.
  6. Type the last name of the person at Last name.
  7. At User name, type the user name for the person.
  8. At Date of birth, type or select the date of birth of the person.
  9. Define the rest of the fields, where necessary.
  10. Click Save to copy the selected details and save it as a new entry.
