Introduction
In this screen, you can review important details about the production operations. These details include the production quantities, scheduled start and end dates and time, linked or not linked BOM items, and the planned, realized, and projected hours.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view another operation linked to the production order?
- In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
- Click Start.
- You can view another operation linked via the following ways:
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a scheduled production operation in the timeline, click Review, and then click Operation details.
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Right-click on a scheduled production operation in the timeline, and then click Operation details.
- Click Prod. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a production order to be displayed in the timeline, and then click Details.
- In the Operation details screen at View another OP, select the required operation.
- Click OK.
How do I change the status of the production operation?
- In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
- Click Start.
- You can change the status of the production operation via the following ways:
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a scheduled production operation in the timeline, click Review, and then click Operation details.
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Right-click on a scheduled production operation in the timeline, and then click Operation details.
- Click Prod. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a production order to be displayed in the timeline, and then click Details.
- In the Operation details screen, click the General tab.
- At Status, select the required status.
- Click OK.
How do I change the actual start date of the production operation?
- In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
- Click Start.
- You can change the actual start date of the production operation via the following ways:
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a scheduled production operation in the timeline, click Review, and then click Operation details.
- Click Op. zoom in at the toolbar. Right-click on a scheduled production operation in the timeline, and then click Operation details.
- Click Prod. zoom in at the toolbar. Select a production order to be displayed in the timeline, and then click Details.
- In the Operation details screen, click the General tab.
- At Actual start, type and select the date and time that the production operation actually began.
- Click OK.

Prod./operation section
Prod.
This displays the ID of the production order.
Make item
This displays the code of the make item that is linked to the production order.
Description
This displays the description of the production order.
Operation
This displays the code of the operation that is linked to the production order.
View another OP
Click to select another operation linked to the production order to display its details.
Debtor
This displays the customer that the production order is created for.

Hours section
Setup column
- Planned — This displays the number of hours required to set up the operation to run the production operation through it.
- Realized — This displays the total number of machine or labor hours recorded for the production operation.
- Projected — This displays the projected total number of hours required to set up the operation to run the production operation through it.
Run column
- Planned — This displays the planned hours required to run the production operation through the operation.
- Realized — This displays the sum of machine or labor hours recorded for the production operation.
- Projected — This displays the projected total number of hours it will take to run the production operation.
Production quantities section
Planned
This row displays the quantity of the make items to be made in the production.
Realized
This row displays the quantity of the make items that have been made in the production.
Operation quantities section
Completed
This row displays the value you have defined at Quantity completed in the Operations control screen in Exact Globe Next. For more information, see Defining status and percentage of completion for operations.
Scheduling section
Start date
This displays date and time the production operation is scheduled to start.
End date
This displays date and time the production operation is scheduled to end.
Resources to use
This displays the number of machines in the operation that the production operation will run through or the number of employees who will work on the production operation during its scheduled timeframe.
Status
This displays the current status of the production operation. The status can be changed.
Note: The status displayed is linked to the status at the Status field at Manufacturing ? Entries ? Operations control.
Percentage complete
This field displays the percentage of completion for the current production order operation selected.
Note: The status displayed is linked to the Percentage complete field in the Operations control screen.
BOM tab
Linked to this step section, Linked to other/no steps section
The Linked to this step section displays details of the BOM items that are linked to this step, while the Linked to other/ no steps section displays details of the items that are not linked to this step.
Item
This column displays the codes of the BOM items.
Description
This column displays the descriptions of the BOM items.
Type
This column displays the types of the BOM items:
- R — Raw materials
- S — Supplier
- F — Finished goods
PO
Click the purchase order number to view the purchase order that the BOM items are linked to. For more information, see Creating and maintaining purchase orders. However, the purchase order will be displayed only if the following validations are met:

Planned
This column displays the planned quantities of the BOM items required to produce the items in the production order.
Realized
This column displays the quantity of BOM items already issued for the production order.

Click this to save the operation details.
Close
Click this to exit.
