HR ➔ Entries ➔ Approve absences
You can approve various absence requests of your subordinates as well as other resources. With this function, you can view the requests entered for a range of absence types or all the absence types and then approve the requests with the status Open.
Click this to display the filter options.
Type or select the cost center or range of cost centers to display the absence requests in these cost centers. Select the All check box to display the absence requests in all the cost centers.
Type or select the resource ID to display the absence requests of this resource. Select the All check box to display the absence requests of all the resources. You can also select the Subordinates check box to display the absence requests made by the subordinates of the selected resource.
Type or select the date or range of dates to display the absence requests created. Select the All check box to display the absence requests for all the dates.
Select the absence type or range of absence types to display the absence requests related to the type(s). Select the All check box to display all the absence types.
Select the required check box to display the absence requests made by different types of resources. This includes Employee, Contractor, Student, and Temporary. You may select more than one.
Select the Active check box to display the absence requests made by active resources, Inactive check box to display the absence requests made by inactive resources, and Hired check box to display the absence requests made by hired resources.
Select the grouping order to display the absence requests. You can group the absence requests by Resource, Cost center, or Absence type.
Select this check box to display the absence requests with the status Open. These requests are absence requests which have not been approved.
Select this check box to display the approved absence requests.
Click this to update the search results according to the defined criteria.
Click this to display the details of the selected absence request. Here, you will see three new buttons, the Attachment, Absence, and Back buttons. Click the Attachment button to view the document that is attached to the selected absence request. This button is enabled only if there is a document attached to the absence request. Click the Absence button to view the absence entry of the selected absence request. To return to the previous screen, click the Back button.
Click this to open the resource maintenance screen of the resource related to the selected absence request. For more information, see Creating and maintaining resources.
Click this to open the absence card of the resource related to the selected absence request. For more information, see Introduction to resource absence.
Click this to display the absence balance list of all the resources. For more information, see Absence balance list report.
Click this to export the search results to Microsoft Excel.
Click this to approve the selected absence request(s) with the status Open.
Note: This button will become Deselect all after you click Select all. Click Deselect all to clear all the selected absence requests.
Click this to exit.
