Importing audit file
Introduction
The audit file is created at Finance ➔ VAT / Statistics ➔ Audit file. It allows the tax authorities to audit an administration quickly and easily. This saves time for both the tax authorities and the company. However, the use of an audit file is not mandatory and is only available with the Dutch license type.
An XML audit file, the successor to the ADF audit file, offers more options for exchanging basic data and transaction details.
Note: Both the XML and ADF audit files are formats used by the Dutch tax authority.
