Invoice ➔ Statistics ➔ Intrastat
Intrastat is a system used to collect the statistics on the trade in goods among European Union (EU) countries. This system has been in use since January 1, 1993, replacing the customs' role of collecting these import and export statistics. EU traders are obliged to provide the information which is then submitted to the respective country's Central Statistical Office. These statistics are then used by the respective governments in formulating trade policies and planning infrastructure needs.
You can define the Intrastat settings for an item, debtor, and creditor at the respective menu paths:
When entering a purchase order, sales order or direct invoice for a business partner in any EU country, a screen will be displayed when you press Tab in the line under the Country column of the purchase order, sales order or direct invoice, allowing you to complete or modify the Intrastat data on the ordered item.
Note that the Country column is available only if you have selected the INTRASTAT registration for purchases check box and the INTRASTAT registration for sales check box at System ➔ General ➔ Settings, under INTRASTAT settings.
You can check the data for possible errors before completing the Intrastat records.
As the Intrastat declaration is applicable only to EU countries, this applies only to licenses from those countries.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 415 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Type or select a date or date range to view the Intrastat data within the selected period. Select the All check box to display Intrastat data on all dates.
Note: Typing or selecting only the start date will display the Intrastat data on the selected date and later dates. Typing or selecting only the end date will display the Intrastat data on the selected date and earlier dates.
Select Purchase or Sales to display the purchase or sales transactions. You can view both transactions by selecting All.
Select Enabled to display the Intrastat records for items that require Intrastat or select Disabled to display the Intrastat records for items that do not require Intrastat. To display all Intrastat records, select All. An item with a green check mark under the INTRASTAT: Enabled column indicates that Intrastat was required for the selected item.
Select this check box to display all Intrastat reports including reports that have already been created in the final form. A green check mark under the Completed column indicates that the Intrastat report has been created in the final form. If you clear this check box, only the Intrastat reports that have not been created or have been created in a trial form will be displayed.
After defining the criteria, click Refresh to display the transactions.
Note: It is possible that not all columns in this example are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For detailed instructions on how to customize displayed columns, see Inserting and deleting columns.
