Modules ? System ? Setup ? Personal data ? Classification
The setup and maintenance of personal data classifications have been made available to support the proper management of personal data and be in compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This feature enables the setting of expiry dates for personal data so that those data are anonymized when they are no longer applicable. This is useful in cases where an employee has resigned from the company, a lead account is not promoted to the customer account, or an applicant is not hired.
This page displays an overview of personal data classifications. A personal data classification is set up to define an event, which indicates the circumstances when the personal data of your employees, contact people, and accounts are no longer needed, and can be anonymized. From this overview, you can create classifications, and edit or delete existing classifications.
To manage personal data classifications, function right 1029 — Personal data management is required. By default, users with the Personal data controller role have this function right.
