Rates are the cost prices of hour items per hour used in a project. In businesses, it is common that a company define several rates for the same item so that it can use different rates if the item is used in different projects and/or realized by different people. Realizations are the registrations of the actual time and materials spent on a project by your people.
To create and modify invoice term rates, you will require module YA1401 - Hour entry role or the Hour entry role, security level 10 and above, and a specific user-defined role that is linked to the relevant field on the Project hours: Settings page. Type or select an hour item to be linked to the personal rate. You can only select items linked to the assortment defined in the Assortments section of the Professional services automation: Settings page. For more information, see Defining Professional services automation settings.
Type or select the start and end dates for the rate. This is mandatory.
Type a value to specify the cost for the account for the specified period of time. This is mandatory.
Select or type the currency and value to specify the sales price for the account for the specified period of time. This is mandatory.
