You can view the budget of all the cost centers in your company.

Roles & rights

To display the budget of your cost centers, function right 310 – View budgeted number of resources is required. Users with the General manager, Controller, HR and HR Assistant roles have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the result according to the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Refresh

Click this to update the result according to the defined criteria.

Reset

Click this to clear all defined criteria so that you can start a new search.

List

Click this to display the financial or resources budget for the divisions. For more information, see Displaying Budget Report.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Criteria section

Division

Select a division to display the budget for the cost center of the selected division. For more information, see Creating and Modifying Division.

Year / Period

Select the year that you want the budget displayed. For more information, see Creating Financial Year.

At Period, type the month or range of months that you want the budget displayed. This is represented by the numbers 1-12 for the 12 months of the year.

Actuals / Scenario

Select the year that you want the actual amount displayed. If you do not make a selection, the Actuals column in the results section will not be available.

At Scenario, select the type of budget scenario. For more information, see Creating Budget Scenario.

Note: You can create cost center budgets by clicking the hyperlink of a cost center. For more information, see Creating Cost Center Budgets.
