How-to: Using the repair tool for Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS)
Introduction
The repair tool in Exact Lightweight
Integration Server (ELIS) assists administrators to fix the
connection between ELIS and the client. If ELIS has been set up
correctly on a machine but the machine name is later changed, the communication
between the client product and ELIS will no longer exist. In addition, you
will not be able to change the URL for ELIS. In this matter, the repair
tool can resolve the issue.
Scope
This document describes the following:
- Restoring the client and activating the data in
the client database based on the records in ELIS.
- Resetting the redundant ELIS data in the
client product database.
