You can see the following screen by clicking the Release button. This screen allows you to release the processed blanket purchase orders.
Select a range of date to display the release order lines with the selected release dates. Select only the start date to display release order lines with dates starting from the selected start date. Select only the end date to display release order lines with dates until the selected end date. Select the All check box to display the release order lines with any release date.
The release order lines of the blanket purchase order that match the specified date are then displayed. Type the quantity of item to be released at the Released column. It is possible to release the quantity of the item partially. For instance, if you ordered a quantity of 10, then it is possible to release only 5 for the month by typing 5 at the Released column. When the partial release quantity is entered, the order line will be split into two lines showing the partial release quantity and the quantity that has yet to be released. These lines cannot be edited.
Click this to export the displayed order lines of the blanket purchase order to Microsoft Excel.
Select the Set to zero to change the quantity to zero. When you click Set to zero for a specific blanket purchase order, the Set to zero button changes to Set to original. You can click the Set to original to revert to the released quantity or quantity to be released of the original blanket purchase order.
Click this to release the quantity of the item in the blanket purchase order. This generates the actual purchase order at Purchase ➔ Entries ➔ Purchase orders. For more information, see Creating and Maintaining Purchase Orders.
Note: The screen will refresh automatically when the blanket purchase order is released.
