All the document layouts under the various sections at the menu path stated have different sets of blocks. The details of the block that is available under the Service section will be explained in this document. For more information, see Maintaining layouts: Explanation on blocks.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
This block consists of the address of your company and the address of the customer.
Header block This block consists of fields which you can use to enter data on the header section of the service slip. This data could be the service order number, service order date, name of the person providing the service, start date, and end date of the service.
Item block This block consists of data in a table about the items such as the item code, item description, quantity, and price.
Text line block This block consists of fields which can be used to enter data in the service slip when the item block is not used. The data could be a text line printed on the service slip.
Total block This block consists of data on the total amount of the quotation such as the total value and total quantity.
Trial delivery note block This block consists of fields or text which are printed on the trial delivery note.
Carry forward block If a service slip is made up of multiple pages, data about the total amount of each page which is classified under this block can be printed below the page as a carry forward amount.
Giro collection block Data about Giro collection like the due date, total amount, debtor number, invoice number, debtor’s account number, and address will be classified under this block.
Trial confirmation block This block consists of fields or text which are printed on the trial confirmation layout.
Free text block This block consists of free text lines that you can insert to the service slip layout to type additional text on the layout as remarks.
Continuation block If a service slip is made up of multiple pages, data about the total invoice amount of each page which is classified under this block can be printed on top of the subsequent page as a continuation.
Extra charges This block consists of data on extra charges or extra discounts in the service slip.
Payment term header This block consists of fields which you can use to enter general data about the payment term such as the bank account number.
Payment term This block consists of data on the payment condition such as the payment periods and settlement discounts.
Serial/batch item This block consists of data on the item type; whether it is a serial item or a batch item as well as the serial or batch numbers of the items.
