Sales quotations are created when customers want to know the prices for certain items. With so many recorded quotations, it is useful to be able to search for relevant and related quotations so that they can be compared.
Everyone can search for quotations. However, you can edit the quotations only if you fulfill the following criteria:

The information in this document is applicable to product update 261 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click the Customise icon at the top right of the page to customise the fields and columns. You can display or hide fields by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes under the Quotations section. Under the Columns section, select the columns that you want display or hide by clicking the arrows to move them to the right or left sections. Click Save to save the settings, Default to reset your selections to the default setting, or Close to exit without saving.
Click this to exit.
Click this to display the results based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to display the total number of results based on the defined criteria.
Click this to use the default settings for this page.
This section allows you to define the relevant quotations you want to search. You can search for quotations based on the account, opportunity, status, and other relevant criteria.
Type a quotation number to display a quotation that matches this number.
Type or select a person to display quotations linked to that person.
Type or select an account to display quotations linked to the account.
Type or select a division in your company to display quotations linked to that division.
Type or select an opportunity to display quotations linked to the opportunity.
Type or select an expiry date range to display quotations expiring within that date range. The date range can be defined according to your selection of options in the first field or you can type/select the respective dates in the date range fields. You can choose from the following options in the first field:
Select the Open, Lost, and/or Won check box(es) to display the quotations with the respective status(es).
Type or select a project to display quotations linked to the project.
Type or select an item code to display quotations with the item code.
This section provides a brief overview of the quotations. Information such as the quotation number, account name, amount, and expiry date are displayed.
This column displays the quotation numbers. You can click on the quotation number to view or edit the quotation. For more information, see Creating and modifying quotations.
This column displays the names of the accounts for which the quotations are created. You can click on the account name to go to the account card. For more information, see Viewing account cards.
This column displays the amount and currency in which it is quoted.
This column displays the expiry date of the quotations.
You can save your search criteria as a template. For more information, see Creating and modifying search templates.
