At this screen, you can repair the selected documents that were not properly converted during the Unicode conversion process. Documents that were not properly converted have characters in the documents that cannot be read or will be represented by question marks.
Go to System/Setup/Other/Documents: Repair, define the relevant criteria, and click Show. Then, select the check boxes under the Repair column that correspond to the documents that need to be repaired and click Repair.
You can repair documents only if you have the Administrator role.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to repair the selected documents that were not properly converted during the conversion.
Click this to exit.
Select the available language so that the content in the document can be read once it is repaired. For example, if the content in the document has Swedish characters that do not appear correctly, selecting Swedish (Svenska) will allow the characters to appear correctly once the document is repaired.
Once a language is selected and Repair is clicked, a message “Completed successfully” will be displayed to indicate that the documents are successfully repaired. Click Close to close the message.
