Introduction
You can obtain a process log report to monitor the background applications that perform specific processes on the database. The report displays information including the date and time the processes were performed, the command, and the server used in the processes, as well as the message shown during the processes. Define one or more of the following criteria to generate the report.

Roles & rights
Only users with the Administrator role or users with function right 1062 - Allow to view logs can obtain the process log report.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Button
Show
Click this to display the report based on the defined criteria.
Refresh
Click this to refresh the report based on the last defined criteria. You can only see this button after you have clicked Show.
Reset
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Close
Click this to exit.

Date + time
Type the date and time range to display the log for processes performed within the specified period.
Type
Select the type of processes log to be displayed in the report. There are seven options available:
- Start
- End
- Start + End
- Error
- Warning
- Info
- Security
Process
Select the process to be displayed in the report. Available options depend on the background processes defined in Microsoft SQL Server Agent or Windows Task Scheduler.
Server
Type the name of the server used in the processes. There are five options to type the server name. These options are available by clicking the icons as shown below:
Starts with – Type a server name that starts with a certain letter or word to display the processes performed using this server.
Contains – Type a server name that contains a certain letter, word, or number to display the processes performed using this server.
Equal to – Type a server name in full to display the processes performed using this server.
Empty – Leave this field blank to display the processes log with no server specified.
Not – Empty – Leave this field blank to display the processes performed using all the servers.
Text
Type the text to display the processes log that generated the text during the processes. There are five options to type the text. These options are available by clicking the icons as shown below:
Starts with – Type a text that starts with a certain letter or word to display the processes that generated the text.
Contains – Type a text that contains a certain letter, word, or number to display the processes that generated the text.
Equal to – Type a text in full to display the processes that generated the exact text as described.
Empty – Leave this field blank to display the processes which have no text generated.
Not – Empty – Leave this field blank to display all the processes with text generated.
Command
Type the command to display the processes log that used the command. There are five options to type the command. These options are available by clicking the icons as shown below:
Starts with – Type a command that starts with a certain letter or word to display the processes that used the command.
Contains – Type a command that contains a certain letter, word, or number to display the processes that used the command.
Equal to – Type a command in full to display the processes that used the exact command as described.
Empty – Leave this field blank to display the processes performed without commands.
Not – Empty – Leave this field blank to display all the processes with commands.
