Importing taxonomies

Type

Select Download to download the taxonomies from a specific website or Import to import the taxonomies from a local file.

Action

Select Custom to download or import the taxonomies from a custom website or file. Alternatively, select a predefined taxonomy to download or import the taxonomy from a default website or file directory.

File:XSD(Website)

Type the website from which the taxonomy file in XSD format will be downloaded, and click if you want to go to the website.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Download at Type and Custom at Action.

Path(Website)

This displays the website of the predefined taxonomy you want to download.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Download at Type and a predefined taxonomy at Action.

File:XSD

Type the path directory of the custom taxonomy file in XSD format you want to import. Alternatively, click to browse for the custom taxonomy file in XSD format that you want to import.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Import at Type and Custom at Action.

Directory

Type the directory of the predefined taxonomy you want to import. Alternatively, click to browse for the folder where you have kept your predefined taxonomy that you want to import.

Note:

• You have to extract the downloaded zip file directly to the root, for an example, C:\xbrl\.
• This field is available only if you have selected Import at Type and a predefined taxonomy at Action.

Schema location

Type the schema location of the custom taxonomy you want to download or import. This is mandatory. If you select to download or import a predefined taxonomy, the default schema location will be displayed in this field and you cannot edit it.

Code

Type the taxonomy code for the custom taxonomy to be downloaded or imported. This is mandatory.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Custom at Action.

Version

Type a version number for the custom taxonomy to be downloaded or imported. This is mandatory.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Custom at Action.

Description

Type a description for the custom taxonomy to be downloaded or imported.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Custom at Action.

Domain

Type the domain for the custom taxonomy to be downloaded or imported.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Custom at Action.

Year

Type the financial year of the custom taxonomy to be downloaded or imported.

Note: This field is available only if you have selected Custom at Action.

Progress section

This section displays the progress bar once you have clicked Import to download or import the custom or predefined taxonomy based on the defined criteria.

Import

Click this to import the taxonomy based on the defined criteria.

Close

Click this to exit.
