Overview of cost unit cards

Introduction

Cost unit cards are displayed and printed at Finance/General ledger/Cost centers/units/Cost unit. The cards contain all the postings that you have made to the cost unit. They keep track of the historical records for the financial transaction in each cost unit.

Description

You can filter the cost unit card that you want to display. To search for specific cost unit cards, you can define the Cost unit and Description, and click Display. The cost unit card that matches the search criteria you have entered is then displayed.  

Search

Click Search to search for the required cost unit based on the defined criteria.

Clear

Click Clear to clear the defined criteria.

Row

Type the number of rows to be displayed for each page. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, you will see the Previous and Next buttons.

Previous

Click Previous to return to the previous page.

Next

Click Next to return to the next page.

Filter

Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.

Cost unit

Type a full or partial name of the cost unit to search for the cost unit.

Description

Type a full or partial description to search for the cost unit that matches this description.

Buttons

Print

Click Print to print the details of all the selected cost units.

Display

Click Display to display the selected cost unit card based on the selected criteria.

Close

Click Close to exit.
