Creating contracts

Introduction

Contracts can be used to register all the products or services the customer bought and/or to invoice these products because the use of the products or services is time limited. Think about subscriptions of sport clubs, papers, magazines or software licenses. These contracts can automatically be prolonged by a background process. The process will also generate invoices.
Contracts are created in the account card.

Roles and Function Rights

Function right 28 [System, Maintenance, Security, Function rights, Logistics] is responsible for the rights of creating and maintaining contracts. This function right is by default linked to the role 'F&A Staff'. Users with this role are able to create and maintain the contracts.
