Financial à Reports à G/L Accounts à Cards
You can view the cards of all general ledger accounts in your company.
To display the general ledger accounts cards, function right 11 – View G/L overview is required. By default, users with the General manager and Controller roles have this function right.

The information in this document is based on product update 248.
1. At the Financial: G/L Accounts – Card page, click New.
2. Define the fields.
3. Click Save. For more information, see Creating corporate general ledger accounts.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” are mandatory.
1. At the Financial: G/L Accounts – Card page, define the search criteria.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the check box(es) of the general ledger accounts that you want to delete.
4. Click Delete.
5. A message “Are you sure that you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
6. Click OK.

1. At the Financial: G/L Accounts – Card page, click Merge.
3. Click Update. For more information, see Merging general ledger accounts.
1. At the Financial: G/L Accounts – Card page, click Copy.
3. Click Save. For more information, see Copying chart of accounts.
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear all defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Click this to create a new general ledger account. For more information, see Creating division general ledger accounts or Creating corporate general ledger accounts.
Click this to delete the selected general ledger account.
Click this to modify the number of the selected general ledger account. For more information, see Recoding general ledger accounts.
Note: This button is available only if you have cleared the General ledger check box at System à Setup à Central Master Data Management à Settings.
Click this to merge the general ledger account’s information with another general ledger account. For more information, see Merging general ledger accounts.
Click this to copy the general ledger account scheme. For more information, see Copying chart of accounts.
Click this to exit.
At Type, select B/S or P&L to determine the type of chart of accounts that you want to display. Leave this option blank if you wish to display all types of chart of accounts. Select the available subtype for the chart of accounts that you want to display at Subtype. Leave this option blank if you wish to display all subtypes of the chart of accounts.
At Debit/Credit, select Debit or Credit to determine the type of entry you want to display in the chart of accounts. Leave this option blank if you wish to display both entry types for the chart of accounts. At XRate type, select Closing, Average, or Historical to determine the type of exchange rate you wish to display for the chart of accounts.
Type a general ledger account number to display a specific general ledger account.
Type the description (name) of the general ledger account to display the specific general ledger account.
