You can obtain an overview of all the production orders at Manufacturing ➔ Reports ➔ Production orders. The key data is displayed for each production order such as the planned and actual costs, and planned and actual quantity consumed.
You can filter the production orders that you want to display. To search for the production orders, define one or more of the following criteria and click Display. The production orders that match the search criteria are then displayed.
Click this to display a list of all the warehouses. The Warehouses screen will be displayed. Select the warehouse to be displayed in the overview, and then click Select. Click Close to return to Manufacturing ➔ Reports ➔ Production orders. A green check mark will be displayed next to the Warehouses button.
Type or select a parent project or a range of parent projects to display all the child production orders that are linked to the parent production order. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the parent projects.
Type or select a production order or a range of production orders to display the actual overview of the production order. Select the All check box to display all the production orders.
Select one or more of the required option(s) to display the production orders at different production stages such as Open, Authorized, Rejected, Released, Printed, and Completed.
Type or select the start date or a date range to search for all the production orders that begin from the selected start date. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the start dates.
Type the number of decimal places to be displayed in the Quantity field.
The additional filters are displayed only if Advanced is clicked.
Type or select a cost center or a range of cost centers to display the production orders that are defined by the people from the cost center(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the cost centers.
Type or select a person ID or a range of IDs to display the production orders which have been entered by the person. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the people.
Type or select a debtor ID or range of IDs to display the production order that is linked to the sales order that was ordered by the debtor(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the debtors.
Select this check box to display all the child production orders for a parent production order.
Type or select the end date or a range of end dates to search for all the production orders that ends at or within the selected end date. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the end dates.
Type or select a manufactured item or a range of manufactured items to select the production orders that have this item(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the manufactured items.
Type or select the item group or a range of item groups to display the production orders that are linked to the selected item group(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the item groups.
Type or select a route or a range of routes to display the production orders that use the selected routing(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the routings.
Click this to display a list of all the assortment types. The Assortments screen will be displayed. Select the assortment to be displayed in the overview, and then click Select. Click Close to return to Manufacturing ➔ Reports ➔ Production orders. A green check mark will be displayed next to the Assortments button.
Note: The assortments need to be defined at System ➔ General ➔ Settings ➔ Item Data Settings or at Inventory ➔ Items ➔ Assortments before it is available here.
Click this to display a list of all the selection codes. The Selection code screen will be displayed. Select the selection code to be displayed in the overview, and then click Select. Click Close to return to Manufacturing ➔ Reports ➔ Production orders. A green check mark will be displayed next to the Selection button.
Note: The selection codes need to be defined at System ➔ Logistics ➔ Selection codes before it will be displayed in this screen.
The additional filters are available only if Advanced is clicked.
Type or select an item code or a range of item codes to display the production order(s) that have the item(s) in their bill of materials (BOM). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the items.
Type or select the start date or a range of start dates to search for all the production orders that starts from or within the selected start date. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the start dates.
Type or select a work center or a range of work centers to display the production orders with routings that include the work center(s). Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the work centers.
Select the required option(s) to display the production orders with component types such as Standard, Labor hour, Machine hour, Phantom, and Bulk issue.
Type or select a person ID to display the production orders for the items which are managed by the selected planner. Select the All check box to display the production orders for all the planners.
Click this to display the production order report based on the defined criteria.
Click Advanced to display the advanced filters. Click Simple to hide the advanced filters.
Click this to exit.
