Inserting and deleting columns

Introduction

The system enables you to customize the columns that are displayed in a variety of reports, and application screens. You can select additional informational columns to display, or you may remove unnecessary columns from your view. The procedures for customizing the columns are identical throughout the application, and can be accessed from almost any columnar report.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I insert a column?

1. In the overview of any screen with columns, right-click at the header of the columns, and then select Insert column.
2. In the Insert column screen, select the required column to be added.
3. Click OK.

How do I delete a column?

1. In the overview of any screen with columns, right-click at the header of the specific column that you want to delete, and then select Delete column.
2. The selected column will be deleted.

How do I define a column?

1. In the overview of any screen with columns, right-click at the header of the column, and then select Define columns.
2. In the Define columns screen, the Available section lists all the available columns which are not visible, and the Visible section lists all the visible columns. To make a column visible, select the column in the Available section and click the Right arrow icon to move the column to the Visible section.
3. If you want to hide a displayed column, select the column in the Visible section and click  the Left arrow icon to move the column to the Available section.
4. Click OK, and then click Close.
