Authorizing interbranch transfer requests

Menu paths

  • HR ➔ Entries ➔ Authorize internal use
  • Inventory ➔ Entries ➔ Authorize

Then, select Interbranch transfer under the Selection section.

Introduction

In this this screen you can obtain an overview of internal use and interbranch transfer requests to be authorized, rejected, or deleted. This document will describe how to obtain the overview of interbranch transfer requests to be authorized, or deleted.

The process flow is as follows:

  • Authorize an interbranch transfer request via Inventory ➔ Entries ➔ Authorize or HR ➔ Entries ➔ Authorize internal use. It is only mandatory to authorize the request if you select the Internal use check box under the Authorize section in Inventory settings at System ➔ General ➔ Settings. For more information, see Inventory settings.
  • Fulfill a manually or automatically authorized internal use request via Inventory ➔ Entries ➔ Fulfillment, Order ➔ Entries ➔ Fulfillment, or HR ➔ Entries ➔ Fulfillment internal use.
  • Receive an interbranch transfer in the destination warehouse via Inventory ➔ Entries ➔ Interbranch transfer receipt. For more information, see Receiving interbranch transfers.

Fields

You can filter the requests that you want to display by defining one or more of the following criteria.

Clear

Click this to clear the defined criteria.

Number of rows

Type the number of rows to be displayed in each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.

Previous

Click this to return to the previous list of results.

Next

Click this to display the next list of results.

Warehouse

Select an issuing warehouse to display requests linked to this warehouse. Select All to display requests linked to any warehouse.

Selection section

Select Interbranch transfer to obtain an overview of interbranch transfer requests. Once clicked, you will see the following set of fields:

Date

Type or select a date or range of dates to display requests created on this date or within this period. Select the All check box to display requests created on any date.

Note: Typing or selecting only the start date will display requests that start on or after the selected date.

Our ref.

Type a reference number to display requests linked to transactions with this our ref. number (internal reference number).

Authorization

Select one of the following options to display the corresponding requests:

  • All — Select this option to display requests that are both authorized and unauthorized.
  • Authorized — Select this option to display requests that are authorized.
  • Not authorized — Select this option to display requests that are not authorized.

After defining the search criteria, click Refresh to display the requests that match the defined criteria.

Note: It is possible that not all columns are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For more information, see Inserting and deleting columns.

Our ref.

This column displays the our ref. number of the request.

Date

This column displays the reference date of the request.

Project code

This column displays the project linked to the request.

Description

This column displays the description of the request.

Resource

This column displays the code of the resource linked to the request.

Auth.

This column indicates the authorized requests with check mark.PNG.

Warehouse

This column indicates the code of the issuing warehouse linked to the request.

Full name

This column displays the name of the resource linked to the request.

Buttons

Only the following buttons will be enabled when you select Interbranch transfer at Selection.

Refresh

Click this to refresh the overview based on the latest criteria defined.

Note

Click this to add a new note to the request or view an existing one. For more information, see Creating and maintaining notes.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request.

Attachment

Click this to attach a new document to the request or view an existing one. For more information, see Viewing attached documents.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request.

Project

Click this to view or maintain the project linked to the selected request. For more information see, Creating and maintaining projects.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request which is linked to a project.

Auth.

Click this to change the authorization status of the selected request. Once clicked a confirmation screen will be displayed. Click Yes to continue authorizing the request or No to cancel. A green check mark is displayed in the Auth. column once an interbranch transfer request is authorized.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request.

Delete

Click this to delete the selected request. Once clicked a confirmation screen will be displayed. Click Yes to continue deleting the request or No to cancel.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request.

Open

Click this to view and edit the selected request. For more information, see Creating and modifying interbranch transfers.

Note: This is enabled only if you select a request.

Close

Click this to exit.
