This page allows you to create, edit, or delete address types.
To create new address types, go to Customers/Setup/General/Address - Types, and then click New.
To edit or delete address types, go to Customers/Setup/General/Address - Types, and click the required hyperlink of the address type in the Description column. The address types will be hyperlinked only if new address types have been created. Address types such as Delivery, Invoice, Postal, and Visit is system defined and cannot be edited or deleted.
To create, edit, or delete address types, function right 234 – Maintain address types is required. Users with the Customer manager role have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to save the details of the address type.
Click this to save the details of the address type and create a new address type.
Note: This button is available only if you are creating a new address type.
Click this to delete the selected address type.
Note: This button is available only if an existing address type is selected.
Click this to exit.
Type a unique code for the address type. You can type a maximum of three characters. This information is mandatory.
Type a description for the address type. This information is mandatory.
