You can configure the Invoice field of a request type in this page. The Invoice field performs two functions when it is used in a request type. The first function is to determine whether an invoice is to be created at the completion of the request. The second function is to allow the user to determine where the generated invoice is to be sent to.
This field requires the Account field with the condition that the account selected is a customer account. You can force only selection of customer accounts by inserting c.cmp_type='C' in the Selection criteria box of the Selection section in the definition of the Account field. You can also use the Invoice: Division field together with the Invoice field to determine which division that has a debtor account of the selected customer is to bill the customer. The selection of the division to issue the invoice to the customer is only applicable if the user selects Account as the value of the Invoice field in the request, and the selected account is a customer account. Note: The Mandatory section is not available for this field.
Select an option as the default invoicing option in a newly-created request. A user can change the preselected option unless you have disabled the editing of this field for a relevant status of the request in the Edit section.
