Typically, a suspect is a new potential business account. You can view and maintain suspects at CRM/Accounts/Maintain suspects.
You can filter the suspect accounts that you want to display by specifying one or more of the following criteria and then click Search. The suspect accounts that match the search criteria you have specified are then displayed.
Click Search to search for suspect accounts based on the specified criteria.
Click Clear to clear the specified criteria.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each page. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.
Click Previous to return to the previous page.
Click Next to go to the next page.
Click Filter to display the Type and Status filter criteria.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type the name of the account to search for the suspect’s account.
Type the name of the contact person to search for the suspect’s account with the entered contact person.
Type the account number to search for the suspect’s account with the entered account number.
Type the first line of the address to search for the suspect’s account with the entered address.
Type the name of the city to search for the suspect’s account(s) with the entered name of the city.
Type the country code to search for the suspect’s account(s) with the entered country code.
Select the required check box to search for accounts with the selected type. You may select more than one.
Select the required check box to search for accounts with the selected status. You may select more than one.
After defining the search criteria, click Search to display the search results.
Note: It is possible that not all columns in this example are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. See Related documents: Inserting and Deleting Columns.
Click Word merge to create, print, and e-mail letters to the selected account.
Click Recode to recode or merge the selected account with another account.
Click Open to view or modify the details of the selected account.
Click New to create a new suspect account.
Click Delete to delete an existing account. This is only possible if there are no transactions linked to the account being deleted.
Click Close to exit.
