E-WMS support tool: import and export company's WMS/ICL settings

This support tool can be used to provide the Exact helpdesk with your specific E-WMS settings, or to copy E-WMS settings from one company to another company.

This tool is part of E-WMS and is available in the Exact Globe Next BIN folder. 

To start this tool, program E-WMSSettings.exe can be run manually from the Exact Globe Next program files BIN folder. 

Export settings (customer, or source company containing E-WMS settings):

1. start the program E-WMSSettings.exe from the Globe BIN folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Exact software\BIN)
2. select the company to export settings from
3. press 'select all' on the left (or make a selection of settings to export)
4. press 'select all' on the right (or make a selection)
5. press 'Export' to create a (XML) file with the settings
6. select a target folder to save the file (desktop for instance) and press Save
7. ready (there is no notification after saving)
8. press Close
9. mail the created XML file to support

Import settings (support, or target company to import settings into):

1. start the program E-WMSSettings.exe from the BIN folder
2. select the company to import the settings in to
3. press 'Import XML'
4. browse to the XML-file (created in above process), select it and press Open
5. the settings that can be imported are automatically activated (checkmarks), make sure the two check marks on top are enabled
6. change the checkmarks 'select all' left and right to enabled, if you want to import all settings or make a selection
7. press 'Update database' to import the selected settings to the opened database
8. this will take a few seconds, a notification will show when done
9. close the program 

An error 'Invalid column name' can occur when importing scanner settings, exported from a higher Exact Globe Next release.
