PU 505 | 504 (Globe+) and 424 (Globe): UK MTD return enhanced (United Kingdom legislation)
The VAT return in Exact Globe+ can be submitted directly to HMRC. This will work only if the VAT return submission is reported during a normal period or quarter. However, HMRC often requests companies to report their VAT return during a period which is longer than a year, especially if the companies are submitting their MTD for the first time.
In this product update, we have made some enhancements to cater for such cases so that the submission of the MTD will be successful. When you print the final VAT return, ensure you have entered the correct date range as required by HMRC before submission.
