You will see this screen by selecting a delivery, invoice, postal, or visit address in the Addresses section of the Contact tab of the debtor, creditor, and CRM account maintenance screens, and then clicking Edit. In this screen, you can modify the details of the addresses.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 411 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
This field is pre-filled with the code of the current account and cannot be edited.
This field is pre-filled with Delivery, Invoice, Postal, or Visit, depending on whether you are maintaining the delivery, invoice, postal, or visit address, respectively. This information cannot be edited.
This field is pre-filled with the name of the contact person defined in the Basics tab of the corresponding account maintenance screen. This information cannot be edited.
Select this check box to copy the details of the visit address listed in the Addresses section of the Contact tab. Once selected, the information at the Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, Postcode, City, State, Province, Country, County, Phone, and Fax fields will be disabled and updated with the corresponding information of a visit address. However, the territory and sales employees linked to a delivery address will always be copied, regardless of whether this check box is selected or cleared.
Note: This check box is available only if you are maintaining a delivery, invoice, or postal address. If the Copy: Visit. addr. check box is cleared, the Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, Postcode, City, State, Province, Country, Country, Phone, and Fax fields in the Basics tab of the account maintenance screen will be enabled.
By default, the corresponding information defined in the Basics tab of the account maintenance screen is displayed at these fields.
Type the first line of the address.
Type the second line of the address.
Type the third line of the address.
Type or select a postcode for the address.
Type the city of the address.
Type the province of the address.
Type or select the country of the address.
Type the county of the address.
Type the telephone number at the address. This is usually the general phone number.
Type the fax number at the address.
Type the number of days required to deliver the items linked to this address in the sales order, service order, or sales quotation. For more information, see Maintaining addresses in sales orders, Return to Merchant Authorization (RMA) orders, service orders, and sales quotations.
Note: This field is available only if you are maintaining a delivery address.
Type the VAT number of the contact person for the delivery address. The VAT number defined here will be automatically copied over to the VAT number field in the Invoice data screen (displayed when you click Conditions in the invoice entry screen). This ensures that the VAT number of the debtor's registered business at the destination country (where the goods and services are delivered) is used for the EU sales list report, if applicable.
Note: This is available only for addresses with the type defined as Delivery.
This section will be displayed only if you select the Use sales commission check box in the Sales commissions section of Order settings and when you are maintaining the delivery address of a debtor. For more information, see Order settings.
Type or select a territory to link the delivery address to this territory.
By default, the following columns are displayed:
Note: It is possible that not all columns in the example are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For more information, see Inserting and deleting columns.
This column displays the full names of sales employees.
This column displays the job titles of sales employees.
This column displays the percentages of commission defined for the account.
Click this to add a sales employee to the delivery address. Once clicked, the Sales commission screen will be displayed. The Debtor field is pre-filled with the code of the current account and cannot be edited. At Person, type or select a sales employee to be added. At Commission %, type the percentage of sales commission split for the sales employee, whereby the cumulative percentage of sales commission split per delivery address of the debtor must be 100%. Then, click Save to save the sales employee and the sales commission percentage, click Close to exit the Sales commission screen, or New to add another sales employee. The sales employees and the sales commission percentages will be removed when removing the delivery address of a debtor.
Note: A person is considered as a sales employee if he is an employee, a contractor, student, temporary employee, or partner of an organization, who has been assigned with the Representative role, and is currently active. For more information, see Creating and maintaining entries for people and Overview of roles.
Click this to edit the details of the selected sales employee and/or the sales commission percentage.
Note: This icon is enabled only when a sales employee is selected.
Click this to remove the selected sales employee from the delivery address.
Click this to save the changes.
Click this to exit.
