PU 507 (Globe+): Updated XBRL format to support new taxonomy 6.8 (German legislation)

In this product update, we have introduced support for E-bilianz taxonomy version 6.8. This version is required for businesses submitting balance sheets for the 2024 and 2025 financial years in 2026. The update allows you to:

• Import the relevant taxonomy
• Link relevant general ledger accounts
• Copy general ledger mappings from the previous version to version 6.8
• Create the XBRL instance document for submission
• Send files through Elster using ERiC version 43.3.2.0

Import taxonomy

We have added the Fiscal Taxonomie 6.8 – 2024.04.01 option at the Action field on the Import taxonomy screen.

Copy mappings

You can copy all the linked general ledger mappings for GCD and/or GAAP to the 2024.04.01 version.

Linking taxonomy

Once you have successfully imported taxonomy 6.8, you can link the taxonomy to the general ledger on the Taxonomy screen.

Creating the instance document

You are required to link the BVV of the GCD elements when sending taxonomy 6.8.

To do this, select version 2024.04.01 in the  Version field and click New.

Then, select the financial year and the new version on the Taxonomy screen to generate the instance document.
