PU 508 | 507 | 506 (Globe+): KSeF purchase invoice import enhancement (Polish legislation)

To improve the reliability of the Poland KSeF purchase invoice import process, Exact Globe+ now supports a simplified import mechanism that uses invoice metadata retrieved from the KSeF server. This enhancement helps reduce invoice rejections when the system encounters unsupported invoice formats or transformation-related import errors. Instead of stopping the import process, the system can create a simplified purchase invoice using the available metadata, allowing more invoices to be successfully imported and processed.

In this product update, when KSeF invoices are checked before downloading, the system retrieves the invoice metadata from the KSeF server. This metadata includes information such as the KSeF ID, VAT number, account name, invoice reference, currency code, invoice amount, and VAT amount. When the standard invoice import process encounters certain errors, the system can now use this metadata to generate a simplified invoice in Exact Globe+.

This simplified import functionality is designed to handle situations where the standard import process cannot transform the invoice data. This includes unsupported invoice formats and other errors that occur during the import process. This enhancement is applicable to advanced corrective invoices which do not contain invoice lines and may fail during the normal import process.

Note: If the VAT percentage cannot be determined during the simplified import process, the system automatically defaults the VAT code to 0.
