Introduction

This page allows you to view the list of solution codes created. Solution codes are used for guidance and analysis purposes for the service activity process.

Roles and rights

To view the solution codes, function right 860 – View service solution codes is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.

To edit, delete, or create solution codes, function right 880 – Maintain service solution codes is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, or Service manager role have this function right.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is based on product update 250.

How do I view solution codes?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the required solution code under the Code column.

How do I create solution codes?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click New. For more information, see Creating and maintaining solution codes for Service management.

How do I delete solution codes?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the check box of the required solution code.
4. Click Delete.

Keep in mind: The Delete button is available only if there is solution code(s) displayed in the overview.
