Product Updates 422, 421, and 420: New CAMT.54 bank statement format (Swiss legislation)
There are plans to discontinue the use of ESR V11 formatting for bank statements. To mitigate this, Exact Globe Next has now adopted the CAMT.54 bank statement format. This format, together with the QR code reference, includes all the necessary information for reconciliation purposes.
The introduction of CAMT.54 bank statement format will influence the following screens:
- Cash flow > Entries > Import - You can now import bank statements using the CAMT.54 format.
- Cash flow > Entries > Cash flow - Bank statements using the CAMT.54 format will be listed here.
- Cash flow > Reports > Statement duplicate - You can manage bank statements using the CAMT.54 format here.
- Finance > Entries > Bank/Cash - Bank statements using the CAMT.54 format will be listed here.
To import the CAMT.54 statement, you must first import the CAMT.53 statement. During the import of the CAMT.54 statement, the bank transaction information of the previously imported CAMT.53 statement is replaced by the information from the CAMT.54 statement.
