PU 508 (Globe+): Default VAT due date calculation for sales and purchase journals (Hungarian legislation)
To improve consistency in VAT processing for the Hungarian legislation, the existing VAT due date calculation logic that was previously available in the Invoice module has been extended to the sales and purchase journal entries. This enhancement ensures that the system determines and updates VAT related due dates using the same calculation principles across financial transactions.
When sales and purchase journal entries are created, the system will automatically determine and update VAT due dates for the VAT creditor term. The updates are performed only when the transaction is finalised through the Close or New action.
The enhancement updates the following fields:
-
BankTransactions.DueDate
-
Amutas.verddatfak
The change applies only to the VAT creditor term. The original creditor term defined in the invoice remains unchanged.
Non-perpetual VAT
For transactions using Non-perpetual VAT, the VAT due date is automatically set equal to the fulfillment date.
Perpetual VAT
For transactions using Perpetual VAT, the BankTransactions.DueDate and Amutas.verddatfak fields are calculated based on the following conditions:
| No. |
